On a personal front, Mike has been married for 27 years and is the proud father of four. Adam Morris, PhD, serves as the 18th president of Azusa Pacific University. He has more than 30 years of Christian higher education experience. Prayer, spiritual discernment, mission faithfulness, and clear decision making have been hallmarks of his presidency. Prior to this role, Morris served in various leadership capacities in other organizations including executive vice president, chief transformation officer, and chief advancement officer. Morris holds a BS in Business Administration and Marketing, an MA in Theology, and a PhD in Christian Education from Talbot School of Theology.
DAVE JOHNSON
You Have What it Takes?
Dave Johnson is an American Olympic decathlete, best know for winning the bronze medal at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, competing with a broken foot and being part of Reebok’s iconic “Dan & Dave” ad campaign with Dan O’Brien.
Later he became an educator, coach, and athletic director. He lives in Arizona with his family.

Pastor Joel Sanchez is a campus pastor at Water of Life Community Church in Upland, CA. He has a degree in Christian Education from Dallas Seminary and has been a pastor for 16 years. He is happily married to his wife Amie and together they have a son, Joel Sanchez Jr. Pastor Joel has a passion for God’s Word and to see people’s lives transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Christian is a native of Enugu, Nigeria, who became an All-Pro running back for the Kansas City Chiefs. Christian led the NFL in rushing in 1989 and is a member of the Chiefs Hall on Honor and the Missouri State Sports Hall of Fame. A discus and hammer thrower at Azusa Pacific University, CA. Christian was induced into the NAIA Track & Field Hall of Fame as well as the APU Hall of Fame. His new book The Nigerian Nightmare was released in 2023.

David is the CEO, President and Owner of Eclectic Associates, Financial Advisors. He is a Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Financial Analyst. He was also the past President of the Financial Planning Association, Orange County Chapter. When he’s not looking at numbers he enjoys playing golf.

Doug received his medical degree from UCLA Geffen School of Medicine. He did his internship at USC Presbyterian Hospital and his family medicine residency at White Memorial Medical Center. He joined the faculty at Pomona Valley Hospital in 1997 and currently serves in a leadership role at the hospital.

Eric and his wife Patty have three beautiful children. They have lived and served in the City of Pomona for the last twenty years building the kingdom of God and loving and serving others. Eric is the Local Missions Pastor at Purpose Church in Pomona, CA. He is also the Founder & CEO of Just US 4 Youth, a nonprofit organization focused on restorative justice and the mentoring of at-promise youth.
TOM MOON

Tom worked for In-N-Out for four years while attending Azusa Pacific University, Majoring in Business Administration. He went into the Insurance Business and became the youngest District Manager in the history of MetLife at 26. He missed In-N-Out and came back in his 30’s and became a Store Manager and then a Divisional Manager for ten years. Then he became the Director of ELearning for nine years. Now for the last six years he’s been the company historian.
